When should dogs be kept on a leash at Texel?

Texel is an island with space, beaches and woods and these are the ideal surroundings to take your dog for a walk and to let it romp around. This applies to both the inhabitants of Texel as our guests.
However, because of its natural values, Texel is also a very vulnerable place. Especially when you think about breeding birds or birds looking for food, rabbits and the big grazers in the dunes. |
